I really should be working on my paper right now, but I've just received some exciting news. I have just received my notification letter and I am officially going to be working in Korean later this year. It's seriously a load off my mind. I had my last interview on Sunday over the phone. It went well, besides that the interviewer called me fat. She started questioning my health and then said that according to the height and weight I listed on my application puts me overweight on the body mass index. And then she asked me if I was physically capable of climbing up several flights of stairs, since some locations in Korea won't have elevators. It was so hard to seriously not crack-up. Anyway, the only thing left is to finish gathering up the necessary documents and sending them in. Once they get all the documents, they'll let me know where I am going to work. Really though, this be some exciting shit.
Plans for the summer still remain up in the air. I'm still looking for a summer job. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know. I'll probably be taking Korean classes at Santa Monica College. Hopefully all works out.
By the way, my graduation ceremony is Sunday, June 14th at 12:00PM. If you want to go, just let me know. I think I still have spare tickets.
