I've seriously done nothing all day. There are tons of things I could have been doing, but whatever.
Went bowling last night with the club. I've been all over the place in terms of score. Last night I bowled a 117 the first game and then 192 the next. I really want to say it's the lanes since it takes me forever to find a decent line, but I should be doing a little better than that. Well, since there's no time like the present, I'll explain what my Wednesdays with the bowling club are like. We meet at 8:30 in the middle of the dorms and from there we head out to the lanes. Usually Kenny, myself, or the both of us drive. There aren't any lanes within an 8 mile radius from UCLA, but none of the lanes are too far. The farthest one we've gone to is in Studio City, about 13 miles away. Then we bowl and usually end the night with some sort of meal. To be honest, we're a really small club. No one is officially on our roster, which might be a problem for next year, but that's not my problem. There are about eight of us that do go to the meetings, but not everyone can make it every week. I also really like lists so I'll list the members here.
+Kenny, the club vice-president. He's probably the worst bowler.
+Devan. She's a sophomore. She signed up at club rush and has basically been in it since the beginning. Besides Kenny, she shows up the most. Devan's also white, so it brings the number of white friends I have up to a whopping 6 people.
+Ky is an Asian kid. The only lefty in the club.
+Ingrid started showing up last quarter. She's a quite girl. She always looks so sad too.
+Then there's Justin. He's the only one on the team that's pretty serious about bowling. He's also the only one better than me. Seriously, the guy knows his shit. He has four bowling balls, he can tell what he's doing wrong, and can bowl consistently on basically any lane condition.
+Then there's David and Steven who make it when they're not busy, although they haven't been showing up lately.
I've just been pretty much enjoying my time bowling. It ends up being a lot of money though, since we're playing at the night rates every week and all the beer I drink. Oh well, it's only money and it's not like I'll ever have another bowling club again, OR WILL I!? Anyway, the club's fun. I've made new friends. We're actually supposed to go out and karaoke tomorrow.
I seriously have to go take care of some shit tomorrow. I have to go buy some textbooks for class and fill out some papers for work. I'm also going to drop by the career center to ask about some shit. I'm hoping they'll be able to recommend a few other teach abroad programs. I have a preliminary phone interview for a Korean program next week. Hopefully that turns out well. I'm also applying for ajob for the summer. Hopefulyl I'll be working as a a cousnelor for a kid's summer camp in Santa Monica. I really think I have a good shot at this one, but I have to turn in my resume and hope I do well in the group interview.
Sleep's looking really nice right now, so that'll be it for me.
