Storytelling: Boston, MA May 4th, 2002
Saturday Morning: I kept having these dreams about me & chris making out with another girl in the mix as well it was a tim's apartment and he was having a frat party..it was really strange. i kept waking up and going back to sleep and the dream would just continue, I even dreamt that I woke up and it was 11am and i freaked out since i had to leave Philly by 10. My alarm went off at 9:20, I got dressed, said good-bye to Chris and went to 7-11 to buy a little caffine to wake me up. I took the 10:20 train back into NY and got into NY at 12:45. On the train ride in I spoke to Jon a number of times and he decided to take the bus up and we would take the 1, 1:30, or 2:00. I finally got to Tavish's at about 1:15 and got changed really quickly. I went to get some money out which was when I realized I left my phone at Tav's apartment and when I turned around I saw her going back into the building. I waited for her to get back into her apt. and buzzed her. I got my phone, walked to Ave. A, hailed a cab and got to the China Town Bus 5 minutes before it left. Jon & I spent most of the 4 hour bus ride talking and discussing B&S songs. Hurrah!
Met with Jon's sister and her friends and searched for somewhere to eat, impossible. I stayed out in front of the venue while Jon sold his spare tickets. Talked to Sam, met his ex-girlfriend Nal who I had spoken to on-line and tried to see if I could find Mich & Liz. I finally went inside and found Liz & Mich we talked a bit before the show then I went and sat with Sam in our seats. The show was good, but not as great as philly...no sleep the clock around or there's too much love...but there WAS LIKE DYLYAN IN THE MOVIES and i freaked out..it was absolutely amazing. A girl went on stage and sang the Pixie's "gigantic" halfway through the gig at the end of boy with the arab strap stuart asked everyone to stand up for the rest of the show, and we did. It was really really great. They closed with a cover of Dinosaur Jr.'s Freak Scene which was a fucking rock out, it was fucking fantasticly rocking!
After the show I went back to Mich & Liz's apartment for Liz's "party" instead of going to the aftershow which WAS 18+ ugh. The party was nice and this one kid got silly drunk [he was a pretty awful drunk] and i remember a girl named Sam who I smoked cigarettes with on the balcony. I went to bed at around 2 which was rather early compared to everyone else who stayed up talking and drinking. I passed out in about 2.2 seconds as one would have guessed.
