I'm back. Unbelievable. I was gonna write this big long thing on it, but there's just too much to say. But I'm now definitely, 100% sure I'm going. The campus is amazing and that one building that "looked fake" in the picture, looks fake there too. The people were really friendly, which was a relief because I was getting butterflies on the plane ride.
Speaking of the plane ride, wow they were different than usual. There's no direct flight from West Palm Beach to Syracuse so on the way there, we had to stop in Philadelphia. That was cool because I've never been there. And in the airport they had all these movie posters so I was looking at them and it was like "Unbreakable," and "Signs." So I thought it was like an M. Night Shyamalan thing. But then I saw "The Sixth Sense," which is also a Shyamalan movie but I knew it took place in Philadelphia so I was catching on. Then I saw the "Rocky" posters and that pretty much confirmed it. Wow! I know too much about movies. So the plane from Philadelphia to Syracuse was small. I'm talking 9 rows, propellers on the side, and flapping wings. JK about the flapping but it was scary. There was this one guy two rows in front of me who I guess had ultra-sensitive hearing and every time I spoke or made a sound, he would whip around and just stare me down. But he was like the guy from Home Improvement where I could only see from his eyes up. I got really scared and was thinking all paranoid like him bombing the plane or something. I was going crazy just thinking about life and stuff. I closed my eyes during take off, I was so scared. And it's weird for me because I've always liked planes, even after 9/11 I didn't mind flying. But this guy creeped me out.
And so it turns out the majority of the people who were at the school with me who were in my program were, like me, rejected from another program and didn't want to be there. So I found that funny. What I didn't find funny was that I have to keep a 3.5 to have a solid chance of transfering to my desired program. Sucks.
So I got back Saturday and went to my grandparent's house for Passover. I went into a room to see what my cousin's were watching on TV and I was amazed. It was a 10th Anniversary All That Special where they brought back some of the original cast members like Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Josh Server, Danny Tamborelli, and the big ear of corn. They did this skit combining all the favorite characters like Coach Kreaton, Principal Pimpel, Repair Man Man Man Man, Detective Dan, Super Dude, Ed from Good Burger, and Fat Cop. It brought back a lot of memories. It was amazing to see how they, especially Josh, have grown up. But I was saddened to see them as adults. I mean it's weird. Like ever since I watched that, I just wanna be a little kid again and see them on TV...watch Snick. I don't want to grow up anymore. But I don't know. It's all a part of life again. All right well I'll see some of you at school tomorrow...if I make it.
