First Day of the Rest Of Our Lives

May 21, 2005 12:52

Well I'll guess I'll be the first to talk about graduation. It went by so fast. These last four years too. I wasn't nervous today. Not until we were sitting in the hallway ready to walk out. When they told us to rise, my stomach was packed with butterflies. I was really sad that this was it. It was like the hallway was the passage from one era to another. At the end of the hall, was the next step; the next big thing. And it finally kicked in that life does go by fast. In the hallway, I didn't even wanna reach the end. I just wanted to turn around and run back. Run back to childhood. I feel so old now :-/.

So after I sat down, I calmed down only to have the butterflies reawaken when it was my row's turn to get up. I was so nervous to walk across the stage. Cuz this is something I'll never forget. But as I went to go across stage, Doug yelled out, and it always makes me laugh. And that's what I did. I'm pretty sure the pictures came out good. Plus I got one with the gang when I went back to the reception. Yeah so all in all it was a fun experience.

And Lindsay, I honestly didn't think you could sing because I've only heard you upstairs doing the Annie song. But today, I was really impressed. Like your singing seriously took my breath away. Seriously. lol.

WTF is that egg doing next to my accomplished star!?!?

All right, later.
