The End Is Near
Well, it's about that time for us to graduate; at least for ALCers, everyone else a week after. But I'd like to just reflect on everything. I can't really go into detail on my entire high school experience because it's just way too much to cover. I made some friends, lost some friends, had some cool teachers, and my high school experience was fine. No, I was kidding. Truth is, my first three years sucked and I hated Martin County. So it really was no decision to head over to ALC. I was nervous the first day but when I got there, I knew a lot of people. And they were kids who were more of acquaintances...kids I'd had in a class or two but never really talked to much. But we all became pretty good friends and did stuff together like football games and seeing movies, and despite what everyone else is saying, I enjoyed my ALC year a lot.
But it's done. Next Saturday we graduate and I may never see some of you again. It sucks. But at the same time, I'm glad to be moving on. It's just a weird mixed feeling. So many ups and downs of graduating. Sure school is over, which is great, but there's just so much and so many people to leave behind. But it's all a part of life, it's all a part of growing up. And as excited as I am to graduate, each day I become more and more hesitant. Well regardless, it's coming and I'll be ready.
Um just to keep in touch and everything, I've made a list of all my good friends and where they'll be headed. So for anyone wondering, I'll let you see "THE LIST." Um, that is all for now. Later.
