Bag We Bag plays its first-ever show tomorrow night (Friday)!
The CDs are done and in their cases. My friend Dave -- who is also the bassist, chief songwriter and singer in the band -- did amazing hand-drawn covers for more than 150 of these CDs. That is part of the Bag We Bag charm offensive: everyone gets a unique CD cover.
All the big-production ideas fell through. Every bagpiper and tapdancer and set-designer on earth can kiss my ass. But the music is in tip-top shape and I think it's going to be a fine, fine show.
The new disc goes up on itunes tomorrow, though you don't get a unique cover that way. You only get one of those by coming to the American Legion Hall on Lake Ella on Friday, January 16 at 9 p.m.
