I just cannot seem to get on top of my job. It's gonna kill me. I'll be up until 2 again tonight, won't sleep, will get up at 6:30, go through another endless work day, do more work at home until 2 a.m.....ugh. I've got at least another 10 days of this shit.
I think this bone-deep fatigue was a contributing factor to the absolute FIT I threw today when our local CBS affiliate decided not to air the US Open tennis match I'd been waiting for all day. Turns out that our new digital TV actually had the tennis match on some obscure channel, a fact I discovered only after leaving a vitriolic message on the station's answering machine and, when that didn't quell my rage, I called the newsroom and got into it with some woman who answered the phone. Granted, they were LOSERS for not showing the match, but geez....that's just not rational behavior (mine, I mean).
