BCS Bowl Sucks Pool off to Sucky Start
I should have glanced at the spread before picking Wyoming on the basis that they kept it close against Nebraska for the first quarter. That's largely a function of the score starting at 0-0.
I lobbied that more confidence points should have to be wagered on the big games at the end but to no avail. The key to these things is sorting through all the 6-6 teams that make it to a 'bowl' because there are so many of them. I will be watching the Ohio bowl because CAZ is doing another ticket promo. A lucky streak of those (after my first cash since December 09) would be nice, but I'll miss half of their bowl games for Christmas travel.
Sanctuary was great last night. I wish they'd do more with the Get Smart/Avengers format where it's just the British woman and the American young man arguing with each other. They're spats make the show believable aside from the jumping cartoon monsters,. but this was the first time all season 4 that they did that the Will/Helen pair.
S4 finale is next Friday so my family can be conscripted to watch it. It may be the series finale because there is no word on a 5th season.
