were presented consecutively on "is It Legal?" segment. That is where Bill 'interviews' two lawyers, that happen to young hot women, on news making court cases. It's amusing as it is frustrating to watch because O'Reilly the non-lawyer, doesn't let them finish a sentence before interrupting with his opinion about what the law ought to be. But it provides a clear shot of common people's understanding of justice, crime is bad; punishment good.

Man who killed 3 people in drunk driving accident
convicted of 2nd degree murder and sentenced to 51 years.
Man who molested young girl released after 5 years.
I posted largely for the first case to show how judges and lawyers twist words like "murder." When they mentioned the 2nd case [because Bill had brought it to the public's attention and got the verdict changed] I thought it was a worth comparison.
