story time again kids! im really freakin busy this week so ill probably only have the time to write these in math class (wooha! totally doing math!). im hoping to finish the whole story soonish, but im not sure how long this one will go. my stories are usually alot longer than i want them to be. not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Sunday. The industrial waste had gotten into the air yet again and the snow fell a lethal black color. The streets and house-tops were painted the color of soot and the air steadily died away. In Tony's apartment, the Hangman stood in the air as ominously as the falling snow.
"I wonder the world's coming to," he mused to himself in ghostly echos. "Black snow? We didn't have that back when I was a kid."
Tony was in his bed, which he'd hastily shoved into the corner of the apartment when he moved in. It was the only place he truly felt safe.
The Hangman saw Tony in the corner and noticed the somber unhappiness on his living face. It had been centuries since the Hangman expressed emotion on his dying image, but he still felt pity for the living. He's in shock, he thought to himself. Poor boy.
"How about we go out for icecream, eh?" the Hangman said with a cheerful smile in his words. "It'd be great!"
Tony didn't hear.
"Or maybe a nice walk in the park?" The ghost was trying hard.
Tony still didn't hear.
"Maybe you should just die and we could chill together in purgatory?" The ghost knew Tony would definitely respond to this, most likely in disgust.
Tony was more ignorant of the Hangman's voice than the last time.
"Tony. TONY!" The ghost picked up one of Tony's more expensive glasses and dropped it on the floor next to the bed. This did the trick and Tony woke with a start from his stupor.
"How about we go for a swim on the beach?" the ghost asked.
Tony didn't even notice his shattered glass on the floor. "Sure," he said, swinging his feet out of bed and onto the shards, which he stepped on numbly. They cut into him like miniature needles.

so unmotivated right now. so very unmotivated. I think I need to start exercising more and stop drinking so much caffeine. in the case anyone was wondering, MD definitely is addictive. mmm. mountain dew. anyhow, spent all of last night watching Castle in the Sky. its by the same guy that did Spirited Away so it has to be good. I really hate the fact that disney owns him though. sad.
