You know the saying - One Step forward 2 steps back. Good description of Scottish Football
Last 2 months everyone wanted Berti "Mc"Vogts sacked - there was even a newspaper campaign to get him sacked!
So he decides to go of his own accord. Fair play to the man.
Next Scottish game - they lose 4-1 at home against Sweden (And get awarded the most dubious of penalties when 4-0 down)
So who exactly do the fans blame - The SFA board.
Lets just accept facts - Just over 10 years ago English football was on a par with Scottish Football - then the premiership came into being - £1bn pounds pumped into the game from TV coverage alone - the clubs shared all the money and used it wisely and nutured young players (Beckham is the oldest outfield player in the team) They waited a few years and a few players popped up here and there - now they look like they have a very decent team.
Scottish football doesn't have people wanting to pump £1bn pound into our game - Clubs are trying to over budget and are going to the wall. It needs someone to come in and give the whole set up a change and it desperatley needs money pumped into it. Fast!
Outwith football, not too much has been happening - My Sister will be on Radio Scotland promoting her book and talking about life with Manic Depression.
I celebrated my 26th birthday by doing nothing - Ill friends and people having to work saw to that sadly... Maybe next time guys...
