Please be advised that interviews have been completed for the above position
with our firm. We are currently reevaluating the position, and will be
continuing our search.
wtf? it's from the guy who hired an hr consultant to help him hire an ASSISTANT for him and his ONE OTHER EMPLOYEE...and made me drive down there for an interview, and then have another interview on the phone, and then the hr consultant called my references...who all gave rave reviews, although they may have given the impression that i'm too smart for the job, which whatever, i applied for it didn't i???!?
but the email went out to several people, since he blind cc'd it so it looked like it was from him and to him. what a dork.
i'm not upset that i, apparently, after applying my top secret decoder ring, didn't get that job...i didn't really think i wanted it anyway and was kind of trying to convince myself to take it just so i'd have full time work as soon as i moved...i'm just incredulous at how dumb some people are, and how they think that they can send out a two sentence email that is totally weird and not at all explanatory, to say what? that they're redesigning the job? so that position no longer exists? what?
whatever. i'm gonna go down there and temp and wait until i find an office that's not full of crazies or stupids and then try to work there.
