Tm 318 Friday

Trekking through the mountains was not Raven’s idea of fun, especially on a Friday when she could be out partying or something. Anything was better than this freaking’ nonsense, she grumbled to herself. But, a part of her wanted to know, why he had sent her that lighter, did he want them to be completely over? Or was it the hope of more that made him send that lighter? It didn’t matter, she lied to herself, and she could deal with either one.

Ororo had told her that Victor was staying at a cabin in the remote part of the woods, making Raven wonder if he was turning into his brother. He would hate her saying that to him possibly she should keep it to herself…hmmm nope bastard making her trek halfway to the Himalayas to find his ass he would deserve it.

At that point she was tackled to the ground with a growl, “I knew ya come frail”

“Frail? Damn you, Victor, what did I tell you about that?” Raven frowned at him.

“You like it and you know it!” He teased helping her up. “You made my Friday much better, Len, so did you come to rock my bed?”

“Please” She snorted, “Don’t you ever take anything seriously?” She pushed the lighter back in his hand, “I thought you wanted something else when you sent this to me” Raven turned away from him, hating that tears were threatening to fall already. Maybe she couldn’t lie to herself.

Victor grabbed her arm,” Babe, I didn’t mean it like that” He softly said pulling her towards him, “I missed you and I wanted you to come to me. I just didn’t realize you were looking for the romance novel talk, I thought you’d be more the jump into bed and say we are set.”

He was right that was her, but this was different, and she hated that. “I am, I don’t know! Maybe I’m getting soft in my old age. You tell anyone and I will kill you”

He shook his head keeping to himself that she had tried that once and hadn’t succeed, he knew she could only be pushed so far. “So, how bout we hit the bar down in town and rip it up? I think the Friday night crowd needs to be taught a lesson.”

She practically purred looking up at him, “That’s the best Friday night date I’ve ever heard”
