For now, a few moments of respite from Res. Life, CAB, and school. Time to fill you all in:
I really need to change my picture, so you all can see me in all my bearded, shaggy glory.
Spring break was freakin' awesome! I spent from Friday to Thursday night with Al. I love her so much. Got some sun, ate some good southern cooking, watched some lacrosse. It was the first time I've been able to throw around in months. We watched a couple movies together, including "Streets of Legend". More on that later. Her room was pimp--she has a single with her own bathroom, and a huge, tough, inflatable couch. It was very comfy. I'm so happy that I got the chance to visit her on her "home turf" one last time before she transfers here to the SUNYIT.
So, as I've said, my angel's transferring here. Things are starting to fall into place, and it looks like she'll be living in a singles suite with my friend, and fellow R.A. Lauren. Next year will be so sweet! Also, I will be dropping CAB and most likely STGC from my experience here. I want to spend the year finishing up school, having fun, playing lax, and hanging out with my wonderful wifey. (That I miss lots right now.)
"Streets of Legend"-a movie about illegal streetracing filmed with real drivers and their cars. All fights were real. It was cool, up until the poorly-written love story bled through into the rest of the movie. The streetracing was cool, the filming techniques were new and innovative. The plot was decent, except for the love story. I won't spoil it, but the ending did not fit either of the 2 characters involved. Manny got me excited for this movie, but it left me cold, and dissapointed.
I've been working out, on a semi-regular basis, to try to get into better shape. I would like to play lacrosse in a league this summer, and my body is...well...i'll just say extra-fluffy right now. I came to this place 5'10", weighing in at 190-195lbs. I'm currently 5'11" and 235lbs. :-( I need to haul some ass and get into better shape, so I can at least beat up my residents, should the need arise.
that will be all, for now.
