I've gone more than 2 months without updating....
Wow, I really kinda forgot about livejournal....ooopsie. Anyway, this one's for all you peeps out there that I don't see as much as I'd like to. Here's the Summary of my Summer.
Car:
Finally got the new fender, and installed it myself. Got a new door, and the body work done, and the Legacy's got a fresh coat of bloodred paint on the driver's side. Damn she's sexy for an inanimate object. I finished also, my custom front grille--It's flat black with silver mesh.
Al:
She's the greatest girl in the world--She wanted me to fix my car, even though the damage was completely my fault. She's fantastic, and Lookded absoulutely Jawdroppingly gorgeous at Dad's wedding back in July...
Dad's Wedding:
My new stepmom Sylvia is awesome and a fun person to converse with. She really is thrilled with becoming part of the family. The wedding went off without a hitch, and good times were had. This is my father's fourth and last wedding. This Bears repeating--THIS IS MY FATHER'S LAST WEDDING, DAMNIT! Oy, so many new names and faces. I escorted a girl about my age down the isle that was part of the wedding party, only to find out later that she's my step-niece LOL. Wow, my dad's old. Anyway, my whole family and all dad's friends at the wedding told me how gorgeous al was, and dad said that if he was 20 yrs younger and she was 10 years older, he'd go after her as i did. My family thinks she's great too--score.
Mom:
My mom is her usual sarcastic self. I love her! She got taken to the hospital the other night with me in hot persuit in the SanteFe. She was fine, the Doc just said she overexerted herself cleaning the house. She's fine now.
Me:
I am completely broke. the body work was 1,400 dollars. By virtue of my mom, she's paying for my books this semester. Lucky me. Helping with freshmen orientation was a fucking blast, thought i was damned tired. I got to wake up the new freshmen and Steve Skiff with UPD's megaphone. A lot of them are cool people, and at least one will be rooming with Kevin and I--His name is Zach, and he's an alright, well-adjusted guy.
I'm dead from sealing driveways, working at a grocery store, and doing estimates for driveways. This cold I've got has been causing me to miss work a lil' too. Now, with the nyquil kicking in full-force, i must be off to bed. Call me, any of you, for at least a chat. Later...
