"2002 Subaru Impreza WRX
The game is over--the hot-rod Impreza comes stateside.

"For now we'll have to take what we can get, which is quite good. The DOHC 2.0-liter flat-four achieves its LEV standard thanks to three catalytic converters that clean the exhaust."
Honda fanatics can kiss my ass! Civic and Accord be damned! Honda's been toting their car's as LEV's (low-emmision-vehicles) for years. Well, sure looks like Subaru's built a better one. In fact, it was built 3-4 years ago. Granted, it's not as cheap. I didn't say "inexpensive" i said CHEAP! The 2002 Impreza WRX has a bigger engine, is a heavier car, has AWD, is faster, has a turbo, AND it's still an LEV. Honda-riders also say that "Honda makes engines that produce 100 horsepower per liter." Well, yes. So the WRX seems to produce 227hp out of a 2 liter engine. and the 04 STi shoves out 300 hp with a 2.5 liter engine. What it boils down to is that honda sells as many cars as they can--by making them...well...unremarkable--the Wal-Mart method. Subaru makes and sells less total cars, but charges more for each--The Godiva Chocolate method. That's why you can buy a used Civic for a thousand bucks, but any Subaru of the same age will cost more. I shop at wall-mart enough, being in college and all. I'd like to have a taste of the good life once in a while.
Yes, to conclude my arguement, honda makes engines for EVERYTHING. Subaru makes Cars and Trucks. Incidentally, they also used to make Aircraft Engines back in the Early 40's. I'll forgive that. In my opinion, A civic or accord is poop for me, and any '90 or newer Subaru is dandy.
I'm just trying to do anything to make me not think that Al's flight is in 12 hours. Oh posh...looks like I didn't do a very good job.
