[For Gellert and Angelique] Werewolf for Capture?

Oct 03, 2010 17:10

Clay is inside, for once. In the library, which is somewhat less odd given that it's nearly empty right now and he's found a quiet, secluded corner to read about something or other. He looks rather more human than usual, but anyone who would approach him would get a stare from blue eyes (gorgeous blue eyes) that would be much less human ( Read more... )

After Gellert performs his spell, he's waiting for something or someone to appear. Some kind of wolf or half-wolf, perhaps. The charm may compell Clay to approach them, though he won't be sure why.

[If that works for you!]

Angelique also is waiting, and fidgeting a little. She really hopes this is alright. She'll be kind to her new pet, that she knows. Really.

Clay feels a sudden urge to get up and leave, and go...somewhere. He's not sure where, but because he's Clay and instinct is what he runs on, he doesn't argue with it. And wanders in that direction, book under his arm and hands in his pockets.

When he turns the corner and finds Gellert and Angelique where the feeling to keep moving stops, he pauses, and blinks, frowning a bit.

"...who are you?"

"Ah... This must be him now," Gellert looks from Angelique to Clay. He looks the man over curiously.

"I am Gellert and this is Angelique and you must be her wolf."

-- "My wolf?" Angelique looks between the (very, very, very handsome) man and Gellert, and is bright red.

"-- but -- he's a man." And therefore you must be mistaken, or something?"

Clay looks back and forth between them. "So I am," he says, in his voice, low and polite with a slight Southern drawl. "I don't know why you would think otherwise."

His eyes are just a little too sharp and feral, though, as they examine...mostly Gellert.

Gellert looks as far from intimidated or worried as a person can be.

He looks up at Clay with a laidback smile. "Because I summoned a wolf. Or perhaps a werewolf," there is a mild questioning tone to his last words, although he is already assuming that is what this man was.

"The lady here was looking for a pet," he adds, amused.

Angelique is still blinking, eyes wide, and staring at Clay like she's never seen anyone like him. Which she probably has not. His beauty is close to blinding.

"--- I'm -- I -- "

She just doesn't even know what to say at this point.

Clay's eyebrows go up. His eyes get cooler. "A pet," he says, sliding his fantastically blue gaze over to Angelique. "Is that right? Well, I'm afraid that you seem to have made a mistake, as I am obviously nothing of the kind."

Though the way his lips twitch like he wants to peel them back and snarl tells another story. "Besides," he adds. "You wouldn't want a werewolf for a pet, miss. They bite."

"So you at least know about werewolves," Gellert prompts, looking pointedly at Clay. "And I doubt I've made that much of a mistake - unless you are what some people would call a 'wolf' in the human world. That is, a total cad who courts many ladies and then discards them without a kind thought."

Angelique just -- stares, again. "-- well that -- that couldn't be with me," she manages to say, though her throat is a bit dry. "-- sir," she adds, with an after thought. "I'm loyal to my fiance."

But frankly, she's just completely amazed by the situation and very much out of her depth.

He smiles at Angelique a little, because she's...small and kind of amusing and harmless. It's a very nice smile. Dazzling, one might say, if one were this typist. "I'm sure you are," he says, pleasantly, and just as pleasantly adds, "And I would appreciate you not making any such insinuations about me, if you don't mind?"

His right hand flexes, though he doesn't even seem to be aware of it doing so. "Clearly some mistake has been made."

Gellert stands up and approaches him. His manner is curious but is more open than cautious.

"I didn't mean that you would cause the lovely Angelique such trouble," there was a warning in the tone of his voice, even though it was still pleasant and calm. "I meant in general. Such as turning on that obvious charm of yours... But to what end here?" He laughs lightly. "I summoned you and you should behave yourself."

He glances back to Angelique. "If he gives you any trouble at all you should tell me and I will take care of it."

He speaks the last as if Clay is somehow more like an animal or lesser being that doesn't know any better.

Angelique blinks twice. -- "-- I'm sure Monsieur will be very polite," she murmurs, and looks up at Clay - we can already feel the seeds of the Fangurlis Francaisia, a particular brand of fangirl, growing within Angelique.

Clay is looking at Gellert again, though, eyes narrowed. "You say that like you really expect me to put on a leash," he says, coolly. "I don't think I'm inclined to do that. Whatever misunderstanding has been had here, I'm sure it can be corrected."

And that is considerably less charming and considerably more Alpha Male Werewolf coming out to play.

"I doubt there is any misunderstanding," Gellert studies him. "And do not doubt I could keep you... leashed, should I wish it," he sounds smoothly confident.

He raises a hand casually, palm upwards as if preparing for something to form there. "I am a wizard and I am sure you do not want to test my words to find the truth in them."
