New Years Resolutions or just contemplation?

basically while I was away I started thinking about some things and realised that I was afraid of losing myself when I started T. I know this is a ridiculous notion at first but I decided to write down the traits that I feel make me 'me' and also the ones I am proud to have, in a concious endevaour of self improvment. I used to do it all the time.

My sense of humour - keep it and expand it.
I love being able to laugh about things, bad and good. I always have been able to find the humour in something and ave found my strength in that. I want to always be able to laugh at myself, to NEVER take myself to seriously. Ever. I hope that I will never let my ego get that big.
Always take yourself with a grain of salt.

Don't take shit.
I've always liked the fact that you could hurt me once but never twice. Lately I feel like I've let people treat me badly and I've blamed it on them. I need to remmember that if I let people treat me badly then it's partly my fault for taking it. I will endevour to surround me with people that stimulate me and not to take any less than I deserve. Don't feel sorry for yourself because challenges make you stronger.

Physical challenge
I remmember when I pushed my limits physically. Where I would go on a long run just because i could, where I would cycle up a mountain just to see if I could. I no longer challenge myself physically. I need to do this. I am going to cycle a LOT more. I am going to go to Kickboxing in college.

Keep your word
If I say I will do something I will do it. Don't let people down, you only let yourself down. Your word is only worth as much as the actions that follow.

Emotions
Start dealing with them effectively. MAKE TIME to self reflect or you're going to burn out. Be master of your emotions, not mastered by them.

Forgive.
Don't forget but learn from the experience. Hate and rage are a complete WASTE of energy.

Have passion in what you do and work hard
Do what you do well or don't do it at all. Do your best and be satisfied with that.

aims and goals, positive traits
