I want to go on a trip. I want to get on a train and go somewhere far away that I've never been to before. I want to got to San Francisco (from Boston), but the time it would take to get there is 75 hours and 30 minutes. And in order to travel comfortably (not sit in coach for 75 hours), it would cost $1574.00. Awesome.
What if I wanted to go to New York City?
Trip Time: 3h 30m
Round Trip Cost: $155.00
But I don't really want to go to NYC. I mean, its nice, but I just don't know. It doesn't have the same magic as California!
I want to go to Provincetown, but I couldn't find any buses going out there from here. Gar.
Niagara Falls?(I don't even know why. I've been there before, but for some reason I want to go back).
Trip Time: 13h 11m
Round Trip Cost: $196.00
I probably shouldn't go north though. If I end up having to sleep on a bench I'd like it to be bearable.
Too bad I don't have enough money for any of that. Maybe I'll just shell out $10 and ride the train into Boston for a day or two. My mom would probably kill me though. And I'd probably have to sleep on some park bench.
Why does everything have to be so hard?
Wait: A round-trip ticket from Boston to San Francisco is $298 through Hotwire. Can a 14 year old book airline tickets?
Note: I won't run away from home people. Notice how I listed round trip costs. This is pretty much wishful thinking anyway.
