What would be your thoughts on the idea of SHIELD personnel having portal guns?

Depends.

Can we obtain portal guns?

If Alex wasn't kidding when he said SHIELD's credit worked here, it's a possibility.

Should we attempt to find a base and set up a computer system before we focus on weaponry?

I've made a few notes on good bases during patrolling. Is there a way to set up a base and network without our communication line and plans being an open buffet for Capekillers to sink their teeth into?

If they start to think we're plotting aggression against them they'll move in and strike, but you know 'em better than I do.

Tony Stark was attempting to set up a more secure Network before he was sent home. He didn't manage much progress, as far as I knew.

They will. They're not going to take any chances anymore.

If they're gonna shoot first and be liberal with the warning shots, I think the portal guns are a good idea. They aren't really aggressive, despite still counting as 'weapons' - means we can get our butts around quicker, along with any sensitive materials. They'd be useful for neutralizing attacks on us as well.

I don't wanna waste time fighting them if they're just guys doing their job. I'm more interested in whoever orders them around.

In that event, yes, I'd recommend the portal guns. They'd have us outnumbered in a fight regardless, and all their agents are well-trained.

That's who I am after. The person pulling the strings.

Exactly. The Capekillers know what it'll cost to lie to me, but they can't tell me what they aint being told.

Nick, you should be aware.

There are expectations of me. To keep my cover intact.

Details on what those expectations entail?

We do need a front and for now, we should avoid fighting them.

Nick, you know what you would be asking of your double agents.
