Please Help Little Bear!

Little Bear is in the hospital because he has some infections and problems and is in a lot of pain.Tim got fucked over by his credit card company, and needs some help toeven see if his cat's life can be saved. I can't win for losing.
I took Little Bear to the vet today, apparently he's in very bad shape.He had to be put under anesthesia and catheterized, he's inflamed and infected. That cost $712.
I tried to pay with a credit card with nothing on it, one I paid off months ago. Declined. twice. So I pay with another one. Go home and wait for results.
Call these guys.They tell me it's defaulted and I owe $730. I say i paid it all off.They say I didnt. I ask why I havent gotten a bill, but I have gotten loan offers and other credit card offers. They tell me the post office hasnt returned the bills so its not their problem. I speak to a supervisor. He'll drop the latest month's late fee of $39. But they are charging me 30% interest and have been doing so for months now. I have no recourse, I cant prove I dont have the bills and though I was sure I'd paid it off (even took the card out and put it away so I wouldnt ever use it again) I dont know how I can prove it since I dont have the bills anymore, having since moved.
So in two hours my debts have gone up by $1450 and I just got a call from a doctor saying Little Bear needs to stay a few days for observation and might need $1000 more in surgery. *I don't have it*. I'm not even sure I could spend it if I did, since I'm going to be out for a month on disability myself within the new couple months recovering from my own surgery which, undoubtedly will have all sorts of other charges.
It's a bad day to be me.
AtTiffany's insistence and against my better judgement, I'm posting a Paypal donation thing here. She seems to think it will help, I don't think I have the kind of time to wait, and if something happens and Little Bear didn't make it I'd want to return every last dollar to their rightful owners... but anyway:

The vet called, I have to pay $150/day for observation, and medication while they wait to see what options are available.
This is crazy, and it's against my better judgement, but I'm out of options.I won't be able to pay for any more care for him, it's already $150/day to keep him comfortable, the vet says we'll see how he is doing tomorrow and go from there. If it's $1000 like she says, I won't have a choice but to say no, it's money I dont have. Since so many of you expressed interest:

Iappreciate the offers and I'm sure it will make a difference, I'm just worried that there's not enough time until I find out what it will cost and have to decide. Of course, I'll return any funds should things not work out.

Tim is an awesome friend of mine for years and I had to do a lot of coercing to get him to even think about doing something like this. Asking for help from everyone isn't something he's cool with - but that's how much this cat means to him and all of us.
Please help out if you can! And please repost this - maybe one of your friends can help too!!! LET'S HELP LITTLE BEAR!!
