In which our heroine resembles a machine:

Last night I pounded out a 5 page essay on the theory of maturation and the creation of independance amongst children that extends into adulthood and confirmed my notion that child rearing is probably the most difficult job on the face of the planet.

Today I've been working on a 13 page paper on the many sources used by Shakespeare to pen the play Macbeth and learned that King James I of Scotland/England was pretty hilarious in that he wrote a book on killing anyone who believed anything that he didn't, but made it seem like a hilarious conversation between two Greeks...go figure.

I also downloaded music by She and Him (the band Zoey Deschanel is in...so good...definitely check that out ya'll!!!!), Le Tigre (I know, finally), Spoon, Shout Out Louds, Vampire Weekend, and Band of Horses. These are all super bands you guys. I'm really pleased with my music choices lately.

I also booked my flights for the praries. I leave Saturday at 6:30pm and will be back early Wednesday morning so that I can start studying for my final on Thursday. Then I think I will do nothing but eat ice cream and sleep. Any takers?

A big thanks to Dan for hanging out with me yesterday and having non-conversations. :D And I'm excited about my date tonight with B-Man! I'm doing all of my favorite things!!!! Which is good, because I don't know if I can handle watching 300 for the fourth night in a row. I mean, it's good and everything, but I'd rather be so tuckered out that I fall right to sleep, instead of watching a movie I've already seen a million times because I'm awake and have nothing better to do. :)

Love: Stacey.

p.s. I also changed my background to something less wintry.

p.p.s. I also changed my email address finally. I've been talking about it for the past 6 years but I finally did it. You can find me at stacey.k84@gmail.com. Hoorah!

"It was late one night, a little while ago
I had nothing to drink, i don't think,
Okay, well maybe a glass of wine,
But nothing that would loosen my mind,
To the point of seeing, what i'm seeing in the sky.
Woooah an alien bein'! My mind can't make sense of what i'm seein',
It's beginning to take control, So i better watch out for the anal probe."

shout out louds, 300, bryan, band of horses, papers, dan, le tigre, spoon, newton faulkner, ice cream, flights, vampire weekend, she and him, new music, ubc
