here are some things ive been thinking about lately.
- the word "hot" as an adjective meaning an attractive person. i
think this word should only pretain to a person that you do not know.
so if you see a stranger and that girl/boy is highly attractive calling
them hot would be appropriate. but the moment that you get to know
them, and if you still have that attraction. it no longer ok to call
them hot. i think a more propriate word would be beautiful. that is
because it seems to me, the word beautiful has to do with an overall
sense. as in it tells more than just a skin-deep prespective.
- most of the people that i work with at the pizza place are
alcoholics. that makes me sick. i cant find any personal trait less
attractive that a dependence on alcohol. i dont understand why someone
needs to drink everynight. they even drink 3-4 beers while at work,
then go out to the bar atleast 4 times a week some of them every night.
that dependence on alcohol to have a good time is gross and angering.
- to continue from #2: people dont seem to understand the concept
of being 100% sober. i dont know about everyone else, but when someone
says to me "i dont drink". it means, i dont drink. not "i dont drink,
tonight". everynight i get asked to go to the bar by my coworkers. and
everynight we have the same conversation. it goes like this:
them- comeone jon, you come to the bar with us
me- no thank you
them - why not?
me - im not old enough, and i dont drink
them - oh dont worry we know the bar tender, he wont card you
me - i dont drink
them -
yeah, you come with us, you drink,
we smoke some weed, and maybe (makes motion as to sniff coke.)
this is when i walk away.
the end.
p.s. while delivering pizza last week i finally taught myself how to
blow bubble with bubblegum. im very proud of myself. thought its
seriously pathetic that its took me this long.
