Well, I'm currently fighting off my seasonal sinus infection, which is proving more resilient than previous ones. Yesterday I saw Eastern Promises with Jesse; and it turned out to be the most violent movie I have ever seen (no exaggeration). Also, I saw more of Viggo Mortensen than I would have liked-- naked fight scene in a sauna, very odd but also climactic (this description would probably take on a whole new meaning for those who hold a special place for Viggo in their "heart"). I was surprised and encouraged at how much Russian I understood. Huzzah.

Grad school applications roll along...tedium tedium. Still substitute teaching and struggling to suppress the urge to strangle the insolent kids that persistently piss me off. Oh well.
