---

George: *scans the horizon, wondering what direction Sunny is in. Hopefully Kid knows* Hey, Kid, are you ready to go?

Kid: *stands on the edge of the ship like Rose from Titanic and also gives the horizon a good scan* As long as you are.

George: *shrugs* Yeah, I'm ready. *pauses for a moment* How do we do this, anyway?

Kid: *holds his hand out and makes his little flying skateboard appear at their feet* We'll be riding Beelzebub.

George: *nods, like duh* I know that. But...how?

Kid: *jumps down on top of his skateboard* It's not as balanced with two people on it but I've done it before with Patty or Liz. *moves aside slightly*

George: *pauses again, not sure of how to continue* So do I just...hold on?

Kid: *nods* You need to actually get on first. Then you may hold on.

George: *takes a tentative step toward him* Like...next to you or behind you or...?

Kid: *thinks for a moment* The last time I did this with Patty... *puts his hand on his hips* ...she had her legs wrapped around here.

George: *tilts her head to the side* Like a piggy-back ride?

Kid: Or you could just stand behind me if you think you can hold on.

George: *shrugs again* I don't know...I don't care. What would you prefer?

Kid: I don't really mind either way either. I was simply offering different suggestions. You may experiment and find what is right for you.

George: ...okay then. *moves to stand behind him on the skateboard, arms wrapped around his waist* Let's go.

Kid: *kicks the skateboard up and lands on the edge of the boat before pausing and looking back to her* Ready?

George: *gasps and holds on a little tighter* Yeah. Yeah, I'm ready. *is kind of freaked out*

Kid: *eases off the edge and lands on top of the water with a splash* All right, hold on then.

George: *holds even tighter* I am holding on!

Kid: *kicks off and begins speeding along the top of the ocean in the direction of the Thousand Sunny*

George: *shrieks, holding on so tight that it's possible she's restricting Kid's breathing*

Kid: *nah, he's fine but he does feel like his personal bubble is being severely invaded* Don't worry, George, it's not too far away.

George: *has her eyes shut TIGHT* How long? *voice is a little shaky*

Kid: I could get from Death City to Egypt and back in reasonable time, I'm not sure how long it would take to get to the Thousand Sunny.

George: How long is "reasonable"? *buries her face in the back of Kid's neck to hide from the wind*

Kid: I'm not positive. I don't usually travel by boat so I don't know how far away the-- *short pause for a moment as Kid looks ahead*

George: *opens her eyes when he pauses* What?

Kid: *looking at the large waves in front of him, Kid suddenly picks up speed and flips straight up into the air before spinning around 360 degrees and landing with a gymnastics finish* Perfect.

George: *screams, but doesn't say anything, because he did warn her that he might have to do some tricks. and to be fair that was kind of cool*

Kid: A perfect eight if I do say so myself, George. *that was completely awesome*

George: *is shaking just a little bit* Yeah...that was...cool. Can we keep going?

Kid: Of course, let's-- *pauses again* Oh, here comes another one! Don't hold on this time, no hander!

George: *is flustered now* No hands??? What??? If I let go I'll fall!

Kid: No time to think about that! *rides the wave UP INTO THE SKY!!!!!!*

George: *doesn't let go* Kid!

Kid: 3600 DEGREE SPIN!!!! *spins around ten times really fast like a freak*

George: *screams*

Kid: *lands, again, in the most perfect of landings ever, throwing in a little sound effect for himself* Ta-da~

George: *takes a deep breath* I think I'm going to be sick.

Kid: If you feel like you're going to vomit, please let me know so that we can stop. I don't want to get my clothing dirty. *goes along normally now*

George: *closes her eyes again, taking deep breaths* I think I'm okay. Are we almost there?

Kid: *sees the Thousand Sunny off in the distance* Oh, there it is up ahead!

George: *sighs heavily in relief* Oh, thank god.

Kid: *and as they are approaching, Kid noticing something out of the corner of his eye* ...a bowl in nature. *eyes go wide*

George: *eyes go wide too* What? What now? Kid?

Kid: *heads straight for a whirlpool that just so happens to be there* Spinning!! *goes right into it* TORNADOOOOOOOO!

George: *debates just trying to jump off and save herself, but realizes that she'd probably get sucked into the whirlpool, and that would just...suck* *holds on as tightly as she can, shrieking*

Kid: *spins around and around really fast and then launches into the air, heading toward the Sunny!*

George: *is almost crying because that was TERRIFYING* *smacks Kid upside the head* Was that really necessary???

Kid: *feels nothing!* It was mandatory. It would be offensive to the ocean to not. *kicks up and does a flip before landing on the deck of the Sunny* Another 8 for Death the Kid.

George: *practically falls down onto the deck* Well. At least we're here. Thanks for the ride, Kid.

Kid: Not a problem, George. *Beelzebub disappears into Shinigami Storage*

George: *lies on her back on the ground* That storage thing is really convenient, huh?

Kid: It's definitely more balanced than carrying a skateboard around in your pocket. Imagine how uneven I would feel. *cringes at the thought*

George: *manages to sit up* It would just be...impractical. To carry a skateboard around all the time.

Kid: Yes, but that skateboard came in handy for you today.

George: *nods emphatically* Yes. Yes it did. Thank you again for the ride. I really really appreciate it.

Kid: Should I wait for you here or just head back for now?

George: *shrugs* I'm not sure whether I'm going back or not yet. If you leave, then I guess that's a no. But you're welcome to stay. It's Lucci's birthday and there will be pie and stuff.

Kid: I will wait around for now. Let me know what you choose and we'll head back. *WOULD ALWAYS LOVE SOME PIE*

George: Awesome. *smiles* I think Usopp set up the tent for you in the hold while we were gone.

Kid: ...a tent? *cringes noticeably and doesn't even try to hide it*

George: *sighs because it took them forever to figure that out* Yeah...it's not outside or anything. And it's a pretty big tent. We just thought....it would be nice if you had your own space.

Kid: I'll...check it out. *a little uneasy*

George: *bites her lip* Would you at least keep in mind that we're trying?

Kid: *begins walking toward the hold, a slight twitch in his eye* I always keep that in mind.

George: *leads him to the hold, surprised that they haven't seen anyone else yet*

Kid: *sees the tent in front him*

Kid: *pauses*

Kid: *holds his hand up* George. Don't go any closer.

Kid: *dons a pair of rubber gloves, a set of goggles and a breathing mask* I'll be a while.

George: *rolls her eyes and sits down on a box to wait for him*

George: *gets tired of waiting after awhile*

George: *goes to play with the kittens*

Kid: *WORKS HARD INTO THE NIGHT, IT IS TOUGH WORK MAKING A TENT SYMMETRICAL AND FIT FOR A SPOILED RICH KID'S LIKING I WILL TELL YOU THAT*

Kid: *hours*

Kid: *and hours*

Kid: *and hours and hours*

George: *gives up and goes to find Lucci and Usopp*

George: *stops back to check on Kid later*

Kid: *still working, wow George you are optimistic*

George: *gives up completely*

*the end*
