I CHANTELLE was accused of shoplifting now for those of you that know me come on?! The letter my sister wrote to Urban Outfitters. I am never been so upset in my life.

RE:False Accusations of a minor December 21, 2004
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is my formal complaint about an incident that happened last night to my sister and my cousin by an agent of your company Jacob Hazell at your Houston location at 2501 University Ave Houston, Texas 77005-3228. My sister who is 16 was falsely accused of stealing a wallet that her friend had purchased the week prior, in which she had the receipt. When she walked in with my 12-year-old cousin your security system did not sound, she shopped and purchased merchandise. When she purchased the merchandise she took out her wallet, which is the so-called stolen wallet and paid the cashier. So if she had just lifted the wallet why would all her cards and information be in the wallet, and why would she have pulled it out at the register to pay for her merchandise? Moving on when she proceeded to leave the store your buzzer sounded. Jacob then accused her of stealing the wallet, and escorted her upstairs for questioning. In addition to this he threw my cousin out side and made her stay outside the store alone, she is 12 years old sitting outside on the street. Jacob never called my mom, nor did he call my cousin’s mom. They proceeded to interrogate her while she was hysterical; she has never even been to the principle’s office. When my sister called her friend and got the information from the receipt that checked out, Jacob proceeded to escort her out of the store as if she was guilty. No apology, nothing!!!!! We are consulting counsel to see what action we can take to rectify this injustice. I am also contacting the local news stations to warn other young innocent teenagers that love to shop at your stores.
