So I don't know if this is a normal thing, but very rarely when I'm sleeping I get a twinge in my leg muscle that wakes me up. The twinge builds towards something, and it feels like unless I move my leg into exactly the right position, that my leg muscle might snap. Usually I can contort the right way and it dissipates like a disappointing sneeze; but last night I didn't manage it and my leg muscle "twanged" in a way that was incredible painful, and had me thrashing about a bit in pain before falling back to sleep.
All day today my calf muscle has been really sore, and it took a considerable amount of hot water and stretching before I could even stand flat-footed. I'm hoping it'll be better tomorrow, but mostly it feels kind of lame to injure myself in my sleep.
Went to have lunch and see "Clash of the Titans" with Lloyd and his girlfriend yesterday.
We bounced around Dundrum for a while waiting for Lloyd to make up his mind restaurant-wise. He's a pretty picky eater so that's normal. Pizzas, Mexican food, Chinese food, anything over €15 and "MSG"s were all out apparently. We eventually stopped at Dantes (Now renamed Dante's Pizza) for some slightly disappointing food; which is a shame because Dantes used to do good stuff.
Also the broccoli was too crunchy.
ANYWAY Clash of the Titans was a terrible movie. I could tell from the trailers it was going to be bad, but I was hoping for "Fun Bad" (kind of like GI JOE), but instead I just got "Boring Bad". I'm kind of amazed that an "epic action fable" could actually be that boring.
It did inspire me however to make
two quick
flips about it. With voice acting!
I realised as well that I don't really like Sam Worthington. He just seems so boring, and every movie I've seen him in, he's been a fairly average joe who realises by the end of the movie that deep-down he's something more.
Whether it be a robot killing machine, a demi-god or a blue furry .
