1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
much to list...attend Graduate School; drop out of Graduate School; see the Fourth of July Fireworks (pretty young last time I went); been to the Taste of Chicago more than once; went to a bar in Wrigleyville, Boystown, and Uptown; had jury duty; colored my hair blue; tried pot; made out with guy..
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
nope. losing the belly! seriously, like 50 lbs, and I would be at peace with myself. and learning catalan!

nope

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
higher self esteem. i'd like to worry less of what people might think of me.
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Fourth of July weekend was pretty memorable.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
that I was accepted into Graduate School and then dropping out cause the program was not to my liking!
9. What was your biggest failure?
another year of not knowing how to drive
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
had a deep gash across my nose caused by a plant tray protruding from a passing flower cart. those flower carts are hazardous...to me...
11. What was the best thing you bought?
PS3 and a bike (which now needs repairing)
12. What was the biggest risk you took?
again, graduate school.
13. What is the one decision you made that you wish you could change?
deciding not to move out of home back in spring
14. Where did most of your money go?
Credit card bills; student loans payments; occasional shopping sprees (I can't go into Macy's and walk out empty handed, you see)

nothing worth mentioning

bad R&B music and rap, unfortunately; i.e Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Usher

working out, going out more

being self-conscious; gossiping; being self absorbed

Just the four of us (mum, bro, sis, and myself)

Heroes (again) and Bones; starting to like Fringe

nope

currently, reading The World Without Us; coming to the realization that I'm just not that big of reader...
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Yuka Honda, from the disbanded group Cibo Matto, Midnight Juggernauts and Moenia; it should be noted that this year was notorious for follow ups from my all time faves: Portishead (Third), The Killers (Day and Age), Dido (Safe Trip Home) for example. Also, Paul Oakenfold, at the last minute.

damn. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (for the heart), Pineapple Express (for the laughs) and Cloverfield (for the thrills). Oh and The Queen was pretty good.

25 and nothing to mention

again, moving out would've been great

Omero who used to work in the Flooring but is now training for the Chicago Fire Department. Ismael, my new boss, is quite a character too.
