So I have decided that being unemployed and in constant pain is not working for me. Even though I can only sit for about ten to fifteen minutes without being in pain, I am determined to get things done. Here is what I am going to do:
I would like to start a knitting podcast. I will not stop podcasting with my sister, but I could not begin to ask for donations for our show. I would like to put together a well thought out show with good knitting content. My theory is that if Brenda Dane can do it, so can I! The problem is cost. Sadly I now make $93 a week for unemployment and my constant pain means any job I tried to do would literally kill me. My roommate has offered to take me to a chiropractor but it will still take me time to get myself on my feet. So I will take the following action to raise the money I need (apparently I can get webhosting through BlueHost and use WordPress to set up my site but they don't take month to month payments like Libsyn does.):
1. I will be selling all my DVDs online. I can have my boyfriend back them up for me. Many of them don't have cases anymore because I bought these really cool Cd holders and put most of my DVDs in them. I figure that I could get at least $0.99 for each CD.
2. I am going to set up an Etsy shop and dye and sell the ONE natural skien of yarn I have. If I can do this I might be able to afford to buy more yarn and sell it.
Those are the only real options I have at the moment. Debt is piling up, I don't really have clothes or anything I can sell, and I feel like with a little determination I can do this and anything else I set my mind to. Wish me luck.
