Here is a nifty event going on in Calgary pretty quick. Blixa Bargeld. Blixa has worked with huge acts such at Einstürzende Neubauten and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Blixa is a real artist when it comes to sound. Back in the day, he started making industrial with powerdrills and hydraulic equipment.
I'm going to be going down to open the show. I'll be spinning an ambient/rhythm set along with a violin, cello and a keyboardist that I hear is just killer. The neat thing about it is... it's all improvised and unrehearsed! We'll be feeding off of each other's energy and vibes during the performance. I'm really looking forward to this.
