I remember there was a day this past summer when We Are Scientists was at Indie 103.1.
It was their second, and last, day covering for Jonesy [who was touring] and I had been raving about how I wanted to meet them but I was too shy either way.
I went to work with TK that day and we got there just in time for the band to leave the studio so I was really bummed.
But there they were in the parking lot and TK shouts to them: "AY, you Scientists? This is my friend britt!"
Yesterday my boss was telling me about his ex-girlfriend that dropped everything [grad school at Berkeley for psychology] to follow her dream. She pointed to a woman and said "Im going to be her" and became her.
I pointed to Ryan Seacrest.
I am just reminiscing and dreaming.
