Read this *before* you even *think* about posting a comment here. Seriously. What's rapidly becoming my special unfavorite is people who feel compelled to come *here* to post "dissenting opinions" because no one here would ever have the chance to see a "dissenting opinion" anywhere else, ever.
If you are looking for discussion on basic concepts of racism? Try racism_101. If you think you need a more advanced discussion, go to debunkingwhite. These two communities were specifically formed for white people to discuss racism and educate each other.
That kind of discussion and education is *not* what this community is for, although people have been known to get some edjumacation by reading and listening to the discussions being had here.
Horde, feel free to jump in with anything I've forgotten. I think I'm going to have to add something about this community also being a decolonization tool for POC. That might make it clearer. (Or not...)
