New Moon Casting

Most of the Quileute wolves have been cast, so says this article. There's no mention of Leah at all, which seems strange. I am happy to see that the new cast additions are all people of color at least but only the new male addition are Native. I am not going to hold our for Alex Rice for Leah when I am pretty sure we're gonna get Vanessa Hudgens

Not mentioning Leah is strange especially since there's a random woman stuck in the upper left corner. Is that suppose to be her?

I think that's suppose to be Emily.... whose entire role in the book is to make muffins.

I...you know... I just had the awful thought that maybe they combined the two characters. Not that there's anything wring with Emily. Muffins are good.

She really doesn't. Emily's function is to be Sam's soulmate, have Leah hate her, and make the pack muffins... and counsel Bella for a paragraph. She gets some backstory about her face but that's about it. Fan fic has developed her more than anything else. I attempted to reconcile Leah and her in a fic I did but most fic is Leah v. Emily as a lot of people in the fandom ship Sam/Leah (that's so weird to write on multiple levels) so we have two NDN women warring over a man. *eye roll* And they're family at that.
