We were involved in the Pre-Production planning of this film. As soon as we told the producers how horrible the cast was, we were cut off in any say for this film. We put our blood and sweat creating the world of Avatar. Inspired by East Asian Mythology, Martial Arts, and Philosophy. Hayao Miyazaki films played a huge role in the development of the characters. There is NO caucasian nation, they basically do not exist in the Avatar Universe.

We are disappointed that the four actors selected to play the lead roles are all caucasian. While the casting is not final, the statement has already been made: this film will take a culturally Asian and Inuit world and populate it with white actors. Orientalism this obvious and this dramatic is inexcusable. The Asian characters we created in a world built from Asian cultures should be played by Asian actors.

Anyone know more?
