that new moon feeling
i started the security shift knowing that something was strange about tonite..
nobody came by until 12:30- a girl who's staying here. no big excitement. by 2:30 i had already been sleeping for half an hour & was considering packing up early since nobody was around. then suddenly i opened my eyes and there was a car driving its merry way down the street and into the closed park. this had to be what my feeling was for.
the people park & get out, i tell them that the park is closed & that they should go. It's two guys & a gal. the two guys say that they filmed a movie here over the winter and that they just wanted to show the woman the setting for their next movie. we chatted a bit & i finally caved & told them that they could take a quick look around the ruins. that was an hour and a half ago. One of the guys & i chatted that entire time about language, history, folklore and myth (which reminds me that i'm supposed to research the whereabouts of the Golden Boy during the war...). it was pretty cool. we ended up exchanging numbers and who knows what'll come of it. doubtless that i'll learn much more about irish mythology which i'm totally up for.
These past two weeks have been entirely amazing and inspiring and life just keeps heaping it on thick.
