I can't believe they put you through all that! I put items back all the time whilst shopping. You should file a complaint or patronize a new grocer in protest.

Well, it's the grocer that's the closest to me, and while I can shop at some other places for some things, sometimes I just need to go there, otherwise I'd have to take the metro to get to another such store. I think my protest plan will be to make a habit of putting things back on shelves throughout the store each time I go, all over the place, and blatantly.
