Maybe I missed a memo somewhere.
I've received a couple of comments (one on dA, one on y!gallery) where the person said that they would have watched me ...except that I like 58/85 (Gojyo x Hakkai).
Now, hold on. I'm having trouble putting into words what irks me about it without sounding like an ungrateful whore. Compliment? Good. I like those. Slightly obnoxious hint that if I didn't like that pairing, they'd watch me.
If I did commissions, and someone paid me to draw a different pairing, I would. It would be inappropriate for someone to pay money for one thing and I did a pairing that they didn't ask for just because I liked it more than the one that they paid me to do. However, since I don't do commissions and all of the art in my galleries are of things that I like, I don't feel any particular urge to change what I like to draw just because someone holds it over my head that they'd watch me if I drew something else.
Please tell me that made sense.
EDIT:
Now the person is watching me. Apparently, they do not judge someone for their tastes. Yes. Wait, what?
