i already posted this on myspace blog... but i think it's funny and you all should know what happened to me today, before 9:30 am...
after waking up several times this morning, and calling my ride to the vet, who never woke up at all, i walked upstairs and woke up amy and jim. jim said he would drive us to the vet.
we got the cat in the box and i used a little duct tape to keep the kitty in there (mistake #1, shoulda used more tape) and drove to davis for coffee first. (mistake #2)
while i was getting the coffee, praxy got out of the box and was running around the car. we decided to try driving like this. (mistake #3) it was alright for a minute, praxy was just doing the dog thing, looking out the window, but then he tried climbing onto the dash. so back in the box he went... kinda. it was the longest 5 minute drive of my life.
i got him back in the box and he reached out the side handle hold and knocked the coffee all over me and my bag. (on purpose?)
get him into the vet after he clawed my lip and my arm and she tells me he's scheduled for TOMORROW..... so i just looked at her in disbelief, i was sure it was today. i think they fucked up. so she said, "oh, well.. he could stay overnight." and i asked how much more that would cost, and she said $20. so i left him with her, with the advice, "he's going to try to kill you."
now i have an entire day and a half to myself. i'm excited.
