some people say it doesnt exsist
some say its in our heads
some people try to hide from it
or pretend they are instead

but deep inside everyone
a voice says its true
thats how i found myself
falling into love with you

many say its hurtful
they also say its cruel
but everyone gets a chance at it
strong outcomes are but few

im still shocked though however
as the many misfortunes i have made
that something this so pure and good
could be given to me and you

and maybe its a lie
but its one lie i'd like to keep
because every day i have it
it keeps me on my feet

when im feeling sad
it always there to help
those lonely nights without you
it brings memories in my head

no matter what is said
it cannot be described
because something this perfect
only in our heart lies
