Car is shining, there's a rainbow in the sky, and maybe the bloody birds are even singing, yeah, I'm happy; my girl is coming home today.
I pull into the hospital picking up lane in front of the hospital, park and go upstairs to get Buffy. She's dressed and ready to go.
"Told Dawn I wanted to get you on my own. So I think she's decorating the apartment." I grin.
"Be prepared for one happy girl when you get home."
I lean down and kiss her. "Excited to be leaving?" The nurse comes in with an orderly who has a wheelchair.
He explains her has to wheel her out- hospital rules and all.
"Let's go."
