Involvement at School...
So here I am, situated way out West at Mizzou. It's been okay so far and I'm having a good time. I started a softball team from our dorm and we're off to a roaring start. We have played three games and our record stands at 2-1. We won our first game 6-3, lost the second 13-2, and won the third 11-4. The third game was a real intense game. Down 4-3 in the top of the last inning, we put two men on base for number nine hitter Alex Tribou. AT Money as he is affectionatly called, drilled the first pitch he saw over the left field wall for a go-ahead three run homer. Three batter later, now nursing a 6-4 lead, I deposited a 1-2 pitch over the center field wall to push the lead to 10-4. Ben Kleine added an RBI single and Tommy Carroll finished off his complete game six-hitter.
Also I was volunteered for Pershing Area Council and the Residence Hall Association. And both have turned out to be pretty fun. We meet only once a week and I am involved in the External Committee in RHA and the Outreach Committee in PAC. Both committees are very similar, both involving the spread of information about the two groups. We also put on activities for the students such as a BBQ, a blood drive and work on homecoming. We also make and design all the t-shirts you would see around campus if you were to come out here.
