(no subject)
i feel as if i'm constantly busy with school. actually, i am pretty much constantly busy with school. i have way more work to do this semester than i have had in the past. and while at first it was driving me nuts, i've gotten back into the school groove and now it's working out pretty well. while i don't neccessarily like doing all the work i have to do, i do like to be busy. plus, sister carrie may have sucked (theodore dreiser) but fucking manhattan transfer was fantastic and i'm pretty much in love with john dos passos right now. i really, really, really want to read the U.S.A. trilogy (dude, how can you not love reading about america?) but that is just going to have to wait until this summer. im also really looking forward to reading some f. scott fitzgerald. so good job for getting better american fiction.
i've also had two excellent concert weekends.
first bob seger in boston and then jonathan richman last night. i'm also pretty much in love with him now as well.

i really hope i can make those damn high schoolers look up to me.
i've been surrounded by amazing music lately and it's making me pretty happy.
all in all, very happy these days.
if only i was freaking 21.
or had a damn id.
but i guess if thats the only thing i have to complain about, things cant be all that bad.
