This is my second recommendation of a story by the (in my view) sadly-underappreciated Kulfold.
I'm always loath to provide too many details in a recommendation, for fear of spoilers, and I doubt that this hesitation will ever be more important for any other story I will recommend here, than it is for this particular story.
So, since I really feel I can't be more specific, I won't. All I'll say here is please don't scroll down to the end: just read, and experience a truly poignant tale.
