I know that Valentine's Day is frequently a horrible day for many, so to anyone that loathes today, my apologies. But I had the best Valentine's Day I have ever had in my life today. I woke up and went to be reunited with my baby!
I then had a tasty lunch at Green and, needless to say, my baby and I had a little alone time, which we had plenty more of later. But I'm getting ahead of myself...
My good pal Mr. Mahoney and I ventured to Tucson to catch the of Montreal show. We both really enjoyed the show and the singer, Kevin, said a few things that made it even better. He said two or three times in a row that, "This is the best Valentine's Day ever!" Also, before playing one of their songs, he explained that it was, "...about a girl I was in love with in high school, but she turned out to be a terrible slut," or something along these lines. "One day, she was blowing my brother in an elevator. Then she had sex with my sister. After that she beat the shit out of her to prove she wasn't gay. That's who this song is about." Thank you, Kevin. I needed that.
So, Senor Mahoney and I made the trek home. After dropping him off from our most excellent Valentine adventure, I came home and made sweet, sweet love to my baby.
