Leave it up to someone at school to scare you even more. Got to love it.
If what you might have is anything like my friends, she has HPV, so they went in and surgically removed part of her cervix so the cancerous cells could not grow. What she has sounds much more extreme then what you might have. I have had uterine cysts, usually forming on my ovaries, which does make having children impossible, while the cysts are still there. Granted, they can be surgically removed, but frequently they dissolve. It is when they rupture that they hurt. The cysts are a simple, outpatient procedure, with minimal anesthesia, and only under the most extreme cases could you not have kids. You have nothing to worry about.
In cases like my friends, she can still have children as well, even though they have removed part of her cervix, a couple of times. When she does become pregnant they will check the placement of the egg, etc. to make sure her cervix can support a natural delivery. Worst case scenario for her, is delivery by c-section. (Which, is my preferred way of delivering anyways! Ash will be delivered April 19th, exactly that way!)
If you EVER want to call me, you are more then welcome too. 520-909-2211.
Keep your spirits up. You will be fine. And sorry your spine hurts! UGH!
