So I am almost done with a Bachelors and I have decided that I dont want to stop there. I no longer want to teach highschool. It was bad enough the first time around. Plus, kids that age are awful. So I have decided to apply for the 2 year masters program and just get that as well. That way I can teach college and actually enjoy my job. My dream would be teaching ceramics or figure drawing. Maybe photography. The great part about that : Average income for a college art professor in Fort wayne in $77,000 to 116,000 yearly. Teaching highschool it would be a little over half of that. The bad part: We would have to move to Bloomington for two years while I go to grad school. Fuck Bloomington. I love my house, I dont want to sell it or rent it out to some slob who is going to destroy it. Maybe gas will go back down to a buck and I can commute :/
All I know is, I am super exicted to knock out the rest of these classes this summer and get the ball rolling.
