(no subject)
so because greyhound is on strike, all bus service from toronto to ste catherines prevented me from going to laura and josh's wedding. instead, i just remained in toronto. and what a weekend it was.
i arrived friday night at 10, and bob, his roommate finch, his friend and i got our drink on. by the time we got to the drake to see mother mother i was demolished. not eating all day was not a good idea. within half an hour i was in jude's car going home, puking in a bag. so fun.
the next day, bob had a surprise for me. and what a surprise it was: CANADA'S WONDERLAND, WHEEEE!!! i havent been since grade 12 so i was ecstatic. conveniently i happened to be hungover still, but i still toughed it out. gui, caro, bob, and i were there all day taking in the fun. we got home at 11 and quickly had a drink and got ready for santz cruz on captain john's fishing ship thing. what a freakin party that was! i felt like we were on the titanic. they havent redecorated since 1970 and it was packed. such a random night. at one point i say to finch, as if snake from degrassi is here to which he replied, ya, we came together. oh toronto kids being all hardcore. except finch isnt a kid. but whatever.
sunday we woke up late and went to breaky at mel's, a lamer version of cora's, but still good. then, in the middle of a downpour, bob and i went to explore the u of t campus. its probably one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. damn toronto, ACCEPT ME!!! we frolicked in the rain and took pictures. the rest of the night was lowkey. made dinner, watched buffalo 66. fun.
now i am back in ottawa and game 1 is tonight. ducks for dinner, my friends.
