Okay, that's it. It's time to jumpstart a little life into this community. (Pun intended. ;P)
I know I'm not the only one who's slacked off and is now missing a little fic apocalypse in my life, so here's what I'm going to make this interesting. First off, I'm tossing out the dibs list. That's not to say that people who've started stories but never got to finish them can't still post them -- far from it. The more fic we get, the better, and we're certainly not going to get that being so exclusionary in regards to fandoms.
So I'm opening the floor to you guys. The basic rules remain. You still have to follow the canon of the community's apocalypse, and for your fic-writing assistance, I've archived the apocalypse info and fic links in the community's memories. But as for fandoms ... well, here's what we're going to do.
If you have any plotbunnies or ideas for stories in any fandoms, please say so in the comments to this post. If you see someone who wants to write in the same fandom as you, great. Both of you can have at it, but keep in mind that both stories must jive in regards to their mutual canon. If you and two other people want to write Buffy/Angel fics, Angel cannot be dead in one fic, a soulless vampire in another, and happily human in the third. It's one universe -- they all have to share the same canon. (The same goes for occurances from one story to the next. If San Francisco's in ruins in one story, it can't be perfectly fine in another.)
So, anybody interested in a little destruction again? ;)
