Snow Man Introduction

Snow Man is a nine-member group from one of Japan's most popular talent agencies, Johnny's & Associates. They are a unit that specializes in dancing and acrobatics.

Originally, the group was called Mis Snow Man (MSM) and they were formed in January 2009 for a stageplay called, Takizawa Kakumei.
When Mis Snow Man was first formed, they had 10 members: Fukazawa Tatsuya, Sakuma Daisuke, Watanabe Shota, Miyadate Ryota, Iwamoto Hikaru, Abe Ryohei, Sanada Yuma, Nozawa Yuki and Morita Myuto. Morita Myuto did not make it into the final line-up, however, and Mis Snow Man was officially announced as a 9-member group in 2009. In June 2009, Onodera Ikki was transferred to M.A.D. so Mis Snow Man continued as an 8-member group until 2011.
In 2011, Nozawa Yuki and Sanada Yuma became a part of Noon Boyz. In the same year, Abe Ryohei went on hiatus to focus on his studies. During this time, the fate of MSM as a group was not clear.
In 2012, Noon Boyz officially became a separate group. With the return of Abe Ryohei from his hiatus, the remaining 6 members of MSM decided to continue working together as a group and was given the name, 'Snow Man', by Takizawa Hideaki.
From 2012 until 2018, Snow Man consisted of 6 members: Fukazawa Tatsuya, Sakuma Daisuke, Watanabe Shota, Miyadate Ryota, Iwamoto Hikaru and Abe Ryohei.
In 2019, three new members were added to the group: Mukai Koji from Kansai Jrs., Meguro Ren from ๅฎๅฎSix and Murakami Maito Raul.
On 8th of August 2019, during the Tokyo Dome Jr. Matsuri concert, their debut (along with SixTONES) was announced! Snow Man is under Avex while SixTONES is under Sony Music. It was later revealed that they were informed of their debut on June 28 by Takizawa Hideaki in Johnny Kitagawa's hospital room.
On 23rd of October 2019, both Snow Man and SixTONES held a joint livestream on the Johnny's Official YT channel and that was where they announced their debut date, which is on the 22nd of January 2020, along with the details of their single.
